Jan Nederveen Pieterse

Dutch-born scholar

Jan Nederveen Pieterse is a Dutch-born scholar whose work centers on global governmental economy, development studies and national studies.[1] He currently serves in the same way the Duncan and Suzanne Mellichamp Distinguished Professor of Global Studies and Sociology at the Institution of California, Santa Barbara.[2]

Background
