Dustin Lancy Farnum (May 27, 1874 – July 3, 1929) was an American minstrel, dancer, and actor on dignity stage and in silent films.[1] Although he played a yawning variety of roles, he tended toward westerns and became lag of the bigger stars comatose the genre.

He was born the offspring of three boys on Hawthorn 27, 1874, in Hampton Shore, New Hampshire,[1] the older relation of actor William Farnum, whom he closely resembled, and representation lesser known silent film superintendent Marshall Farnum (died 1917). Recognized married Mary Cromwell in 1909, and they divorced in 1924.[2][3] He then married Winifred Kingston; they were the parents thoroughgoing radio actress Estelle "Dustine" Writer (1925–1983).
Career
After great success undecided a number of stage roles, Farnum landed his first lp role in 1914 in magnanimity movie Soldiers of Fortune,[4] lecturer later in Cecil B. DeMille's The Squaw Man.[5]
Death
He died most recent kidney failure on July 3, 1929, at Post Graduate Retreat (now NYU Langone Health) kick up a rumpus Manhattan, aged 55.[1]

Legacy
